Sealy, Serta, Simmons. They have been household names for generations. So who’s Kingsdown? Believe it or not, Kingsdown is Canada’s largest mattress manufacturer. Once you enter into a dealer showroom, you can easily spot a Kingsdown. The product is simply remarkable. But as a consumer, why would you spend more money on a brand you’ve never heard of?

Having convinced Kingsdown’s partners of the importance of a website, we embarked on not designing a website, but designing a tool that would educate the consumer, gauge product interest through tags, monitor consumer interest vs sales within stores, and a labyrinth of wonderful statistical features. All with one purpose in mind: to empower the consumer to make the right purchase decision. The website provided consumer insights and a shopping checklist—confidently knowing that a smart shopper will buy Kingsdown.

The statistical features merely ensured Kingsdown sales and training staff that they did everything possible to educate retailers. Despite Kingsdown’s already resounding success, the have now secured contracts for 120% more product. Why? Sales teams love it—a product that sells it self.
